How to get the Pre-admission Letter for CGS-Bilateral Program in UESTC

After getting the Award Letter for Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) from the dispatching authorities, candidates can apply to the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) for the Pre-admission Letter. 

Application Procedures for Pre-admission letter: 

1. Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country for CGS opportunity

2. Log on to the online application system of UESTC to do an online application (http://admission.uestc.edu.cn/) before March 31st. (Please choose the “Chinese Government Scholarship” program).

To finish the online application, please submit the required documents in the system.

3. Applicants will get the pre-admission letter from the admission office in UESTC after applying successfully.

Note:

1. This is a Pre-admission letter and valid only for the application for Chinese Government Scholarship. A formal admission letter will be mailed to successful applicants of CSC Scholarship.

2. UESTC should be the first choice when the candidates complete the online application procedure at CSC Online Application System. choose the “Chinese Government Scholarship” program). To finish the online application, please submit the required documents in the system.

3. Applicants will get the pre-admission letter from the admission office

in UESTC after applying successfully.
