Visa Procedure for Pakistani Students (Islamabad)
1. Chinese embassy Islamabad timing is 9:00am -12:00pm. Students must reach before 11:30 am to remain at a safe end. Students planning to attend the Foreign office and embassy on the same day, manage their time.

2. Student from other cities must plan their routes to reach the diplomatic enclave bus shuttle service point due to various delaying issues like construction work, strikes, security reasons, etc.
3. Before you go to the embassy, Read the list of required documents from the Chinese embassy website and arrange/manage all documents accordingly. Download the VISA FORM from the embassy website and fill it.
Photocopy/download all your required documents/photos at home. Photocopy/printing machines are available inside the diplomatic enclave bus shuttle service point but are very costly. The same is the case for other shops. Keep a pen, stapler, etc. with you.
4. First of all, go to the bus shuttle ticket counter to buy a ticket for the Chinese embassy. Single entry ticket is Rs.200 while multiple entry ticket is expensive. After the ticket, go to a nearby counter (free of cost) to deposit your mobile phone/ tablet, etc. finally take the bus.
5. Before you enter the embassy arrange all documents. There is some local person in waiting for
hall to help you as well. Wait for your turn.
6. When you go to the visa counter, hand over your filled visa form along with other documents
to the Chinese staff. Keep original documents with you, they can check documents. They will
give back the original documents after checking.
What they will see, this is an individual
experience and may vary from person to person. So you should have all documents with
you.
7. Don’t hurry and remain calm. Proceed with all processes in relax mode. Sometimes Chinese staff gets irritated due to some people's rude behavior, so observe carefully and avoid to go such staff person.
8. Once you finished, they give you a token and ask you to collect your visa after 4-5 working days. You can apply for an urgent visa also by paying a fee.
9. This year embassy specified a hospital for medical examination. You can get info about these hospitals from the Chinese embassy website.
